Breeding Program - Mares Used
Our Horses

August , 2010

While the more experienced horses are still out of  competition due to  injury,   Lauren and Tarwin Grove Sydney
had a great result at Sydney International  3 Day Event , 27th  Aug. , 2010.

T.G. Sydney received the title of  Australian Young Event Horse Champion, in the  5 y.o. class.

Many Thanks to Dr Catherine Unkenstein ( Tarwin Grove Stud )  for breeding such an amazing and talented horse .

Lauren  will now be focusing  , for the rest of the year , on the SJ arena because of T.G. Sydney's  special talent in this discipline.

August , 2010

Well  a  frustrating week or two with regard to our top competition horses…….. Fantasia injured herself overnight in her yard. Sadly she will be out for the next 4 months.

She was to have her first 1* start at SIEC  in early August , and has been going beautifully. Camden , 2nd Pre-novice, May, 2010.  ?
Time to consider an embryo transfer for her, while she is off the competition circuit !

To top that day off Koots managed to sever a superficial  artery (whew, superficial was bad enough)  in his off hind  in the truck and
is out of competition action for a  while , but well on the  mend and
back in  light work .

Such is life with horses!

THANKS to the team from Terrey Hills  Animal Hospital,  Michael Robinson ( Randwick Equine Centre )

and Kris Geddes ( Farrier ) for their ongoing care of all the horses.

Just another day for Michael .............
