Sydney was purchased from his breeder , Dr Catherine Unkenstein of Tarwin Grove Stud , as an unbroken 2 y.o.
He has now commenced his competiton career and is proving to be a very exciting eventing prospect. He has a wonderful work ethic and shows a bold and sensible attitude from his limited outings.
He has fabulous , balanced paces , particularly a super canter with natural engagement. Having recently started showjumping he is demonstrating great athleticism . He is scopey, careful and has a super backend over a fence. No surprise given his bloodlines.
His sire is Sirocco , whose pedigree lines are represented by competitors at the highest level in all olympic disciplines , most notably the influential Donnerhall and Contender lines . His Dam, Falcon Tallulah (dec.) was a careful D Grade showjumper and a lovely type. Bred by John and Pip Cooper ,Tallulah competed successfully with Cath in dressage up to Novice level . Her bloodlines are very impresssive. Tallulah's dam, Zany Lady has produced Falcon Rose, a super showjumper sold overseas and Cracklin Rosie, dam of three very special youngsters, (1) EPH Smooth, a gorgeous dressage horse - Medium level (2) Eliza Jane, ridden at World Cup level by Sean Cooper and Vicki Roycroft (3) Strawberry Girl, probably one of the best junior horses in the country today and (4) Gabrielle, who is the dam of Falcon Dusky Tiger ,who was sold to the USA.
Sydney has qualified for Dressage With the Stars, 2010, in the 4y.o. class . He will also commence his eventing career this year.

TS Fantasia
.is an outstanding Trakehner mare that has been lovingly and carefully produced by Melinda Morris until her puchas by us in March , 2009.
While Fantasy had had no outings up until that time she had been beautifully schooled on the flat and had commenced her SJ training ( thanks Linny ) .
She is a beautifully put together mare , having a great presence and three flowing , balanced and naturally engaged / forward paces. Since starting her eventing
career , she has proven herself wonderfully athletic and displays a fabulous work ethic .
Her sire APH Sydney , by the great SJ sire Trak ( imp ) who was purchased by George Sanna , Rod Brown, and John MacMillan for his exceptional jumping ability , also has proven performance lines for dressage and eventing through his dam , Sarmatia ( Ger ). In Fantasy’s dam line , there is the sire Polarschnee who in his Stallion Performance Test ,1974 ( Medingen ) received the following comments ‘outstanding jumping talent , good dressage quality , very talented eventer , hard constitution’ . Through the grand-dam are the lines of the immortal Matador , the primary stallion of the Trakehner Association in Germany .
Fantasy will contiue her performance career and will then be used as a valuable asset in our breeding program in the future.
She is in training with Kevin McNab, while Lauren recovers from injury, and is currently competing Pre-novice.

Aurum Brilliant Connections
Moby was purchased as a yearling from Aurum Performance Horses.
He has been recently broken in and is going kindly under saddle. He shows a great willingness to learn and an exceptionally quiet , obliging and friendly disposition. He has nice, balanced paces with a super canter.
His pedigree including Brilliant Invader and Family Ties , both of whom have sired a significant number of successful eventing and showjumping horses in Australia and NZ , indicates that he will be destined for a showjumping or eventing career.
He will commence his dressage training this year , and later showjumping , and will be provided with regular outings to local competition venues.
